Department head message
The Arabic Linguistics Institute is a cultural interface not of KSU, but also to Saudi Arabia, through receiving students from friendly countries to learn Arabic as a second language. The language and culture department is responsible for preparing those students linguistically through the education of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in addition to brief them on the bright side of Saudi culture, and generally the Arab culture. It also distinguishes language and culture generally from the rest of the University departments that is the only tremendous cultural diversity as a result of the geographical diversity of associated students, taking up regular student’s nationalities in nearly 40 nationalities. This thing made the language and culture generally, besides being educational centers for Arabic, a culturally rich in many rich cultures of the world. From this place, I am pleased to welcome each new student is affiliated to the Institute in general, and department in particularly, as I would like to make my happiness and my thanks to all teachers, administrators, and students attending our dear Institute.
