Introduction

• The Royal Decree numbered 18 935 and dated 25/06/1394 included in the second paragraph the tasks entrusted to the Center for Research in the Arabic Language Institute.  To implement its contents, a number of faculty members who specialize in the field of Applied Linguistics supervised the Center since the establishment of the Institute 33 years ago. Based on the contents of the Council of Higher Education resolution No. 02/10/1419 H adopted at the tenth meeting of the Council on 6/2/1419 H, the research centers in Saudi universities seek to realize scientific research mission included in  the "Uniform Regulation for Scientific Research in the Universities".  Such a Uniform Regulation has been oriented with the consent of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the President of the Higher Education Council via a Nobel telegraph No. 7 / b / 4403, dated 2/4/1419 H.
   
• That time on, the Center for Research at the Arabic Language Institute works under the umbrella of the activities of the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, and seeks to provide services to researchers in the fields of language and education to boost the scientific advancement in these fields. While we offer this brief introduction, we offer alongside it an invitation to you- dear researcher- to benefit from the services provided by by one of the official channels to support scientific research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We welcome any scientific activity that the Unit may contribute to it through service provision
